Big plans are 'AA-foot'

Andrew Ford, A senior Hotel and Restaurant Inspector in Northern Ireland for the AA has welcomed plans to develop the Kitchens and Dining at The Old Inn, Crawfordsburn.

Seen in this picture, from Left to Right are Paul Rice (Managing Director), Andrew Ford, and Neill Graham (Executive Head Chef) looking over the plans for the new building.

The continued development of the Northern Ireland Hospitality and Food offerings are important to the local economy, both in serving the home market and also for attracting new overseas and overborder guests.

This £2.7m development houses some of the finest cooking equipment in the world and sets The Old Inn to become one of the premier hospitality hotspots in Northern Ireland" Says Garvan Rice, Sales Director at The Old Inn.

Andrew is an excellent source of advice for us, and is keen to see a raise the standard of food accross Northern Ireland. This can only come by meeting and exeeding his demanding standards on a regular basis. This is a tough challenge and Andrew often will cast his opinion on Menu compliations and new ideas here at The Old Inn before we commit to it.

The new phase will be complete by the end of October 2010 and will feature a very exciting 'Open Pass' viewing area into the kitchens which houses amongst other items a state-of-the-art french cooking suite from Bonnet. A brand synonymous with quality and durability.
