Archived Article: Celebration of the new relationship between The Old Inn and United Wine Merchants
Tuesday, 28th April 2009, marked the official launch of United Wine Merchants as The Old Inn's newly appointed wine supplier.
Traditional Spanish music, themed menu and the historic ambience of Restaurant 1614, set the scene perfectly for an evening of good food and excellent company.
The carefully crafted menu composed of a Roast Monkfish Starter, tender Roast Beef Fillet and a mouth watering Pineapple Creme Brulee, was complimented by a selection of wines from the cellars of Marques De Caceres, to accompany each course.
An informative tutored tasting was hosted by wine connoisseur, Anne Vallejo, as the finish to a perfect evening.
