Step back in time at the Ulster Folk & Transport Museum, visit the stately home and gardens of Mount Stewart, take a drive along the scenic Co Down Coast or perhaps take a short trip to Belfast for shopping or the city sights and attractions of W5, The Odyssey and The Ulster Museum, for example.
If you are a golfer, there are four notable courses nearby, Royal County Down, Carnalea, Clandeboye and Blackwood in the near vacinity. Alternatively you might try some fishing, horse riding or sailing.

Belfast City Hall is the civic building of the Belfast City Council. Located in Donegall Square, it faces north and effectively divides the commercial and business areas of the city centre. Plans for the City Hall began in 1888 when Belfast was awarded city status by Queen Victoria.

The Ulster Folk and Transport Museum, voted Irish Museum of the Year, illustrates the way of life and the traditions of the people of the north of Ireland. Set in over 170 acres of rolling countryside, the outdoor Folk Museum tells the story of life in early 20th century Ulster.The Transport Museum, one of the finest in Europe, displays Ireland's largest and most comprehensive transport collection, from horse-drawn carts to Irish built motor cars, and from the mighty steam locomotives that graced our railways to the history of ship and aircraft building.
